Ducati-Multistrada


This is the Ferrari of the motorbike. Sexy,Beautiful, and high performance.



Ducati has been reduced the time of the Intake and Exhaust Valve simultaneously open.
Reducing the reverse turbocharge effect.
Is this Reverse Flow Cylinder Head ? I am confusing.
Contrast to Crossflow Cylinder Head.
Note that:
Multistada Engine: Inet Valve almost closed.
Racing Engine: Intake Valve and Exhaust Valve open simultaneously.

Note that:
Multistrada Engine: Both Inlet and Exhaust valves had closed
Racing Engine:The Intake has closed, but the Exhaust Valve hasn't closed yet.

The amount of petroleum was sucked into the engine, and reducing the sound of the bomb
in side the cylinder.

Ignite. The Multistrada's flame is less intense than racing engine so that made it smooth.

Install the gear. If this procedure is done correctly, and then the gear would turn.
If not they get jammed.

Install the Crankshaft.

Install Engine Case

Desmodromic Valve.
Note that the outline of cam is different form the following picture, and
the angle between two cylinders.
The Desmodromic Valve which has no valve spring.
I have a question why didn't Ducati implement the Pnuematic Valve ? Hard to maintain??

As as high eves, the spring could kick out and bound from the cylinder head.

Put the frame and engine together

Install the Front Fork

Throttle and Butterfly.
The device has electrical motor moves the butterfly.
Compare to Honda I-VTEC technology which controlled the valve.

Install front wheel.

Brembo Caliper and Ohlins Shock Absorber

Polish and final check. Ready to hit on the road.
