Major League Baseball buy players from South America, Asia... Why do they buy players
from other countries ?? Outsource ...

I.Reason

Major League Baseball is different from NBA, NHL, NFL, there is no salary cap to limit
the payroll within 30 teams in North America.

II.Problem

Without Salary Cap & Anti-Trust exemption, the problem is payroll disparity.
From Fox Sports Website.

then, competitiveness imbalance.

III.Solution
The following solutions implemented and invented by the commissioner of MLB.

A: Minor League Baseball (All over the World)

    1.South America

I think it looks like Mercedes-Benz assembly some of automobile in Mexico.

    2.Asia (NPB、KBO、CPBL)
Let us take a look at the most famous and top players, some of them are the best players
       in baseball era.
       NPB: Ichiro Suzuki、Matsui Hidek、Daisuke Matsuzaka、Yu Darvish、....
KBO: xxx. Search on the web yourself
       Taiwan: 王建民、曹錦輝、郭泓志、陳金鋒...(Secondary Process in U.S.A)
                     陳偉殷(第一個日本養成。NPB-->MLB)
                     倪福德(Made In Taiwan 100%)
Why are Taiwanness players high frequent to undergo Tommy John surgery??
Collect more statistic in minor league.

      ** The angle of view**

       From MLB:
MLB is the center of the world baseball.
Think about why the MLB Champion game called "World Series" What a confident title.
The way of mitigate the competitiveness imbalance. The other are subsidiary companies.

       From Asia:
We call this is the dream.

I think it is difficult to stand between Asia and MLB to interpret the players.
Because the center of pacific which has few islands to stand. Just kidding.LOL

B: Revenue Sharing

C: Wild Card

D: League Division

    Nation League & America League
Inter-league created more game tension among 30 clubs.
Before the 1997 season, teams in the American League
and National League did not meet during the regular season.

E:Moneyball

In "01:52:27" which made me impressive is the following:

What the Minnesota Twins exposed is the fact that
Oakland A's were fundamentally not a sound baseball team.

I mean they had  a flawed concept that started with the general manager
and the brain trust thinking they could reinvent baseball.

You can't approach baseball from a statistical, bean-counting
point of view. It's won on the field with fundamental play.
You have to steal, you have to bunt, you have to sacrifice.
You gotta get your men in scoring position, and you gotta bring them in.

You don't do that with a bunch of statistical gimmicks.Nobody reinvents this game.

    Thinking.....
Now, Moneyball made me think about economics of country.
Economists tried to use the same way "statistical gimmicks" to
convince us to believe the scenario of economy made the same fault.

You can't build a company from statistical gimmicks.
It's won on the field with fundamental industry and technology.
You have to run, hit, work hard and fight.
You gotta get your weapon in attacking position, and you gotta fire and shoot it.

Moneyball is the mundane movie, you can think many things not only
baseball but also the philosophy of life issues.
