Alpine Armored Vehicle

Strip down and install the cover to protect the paint.

You avoid ambushing and moving in the urban area under fire, you may hit the curb, building or debris. So, if the vehicle is light, you may lose control or roll over.
To keep the center gravity lower on the vehicle , Alpine makes sure the weight of the floor armor
is heavier than armor putted on the roof. The thick under armor is also important,
because some lethal threats come from the ground. Such as IED.

The angle of the armor plate is also important. The armor is not flat but slope which allows the armor better deflect the round not blast through.

The overlapped area goes around the window that is the glass meets the vehicle. You have to protect this area, because this little area could otherwise be weak spot, the result is the penetration could occur. Custom the door hinge which can withstand excessive weight than normal. The design is allow the door rides on the armor, not the armor rides on the door.

Run Flat Tire.
