Aston Martin DB9

Chassis Fabrication.

Adhesive Bonding. Adhesive Bonded Structural Composites. Note that Aston Martin was not built by traditional welding. The technician glued the chassis rather than traditional weld helping reduce the weight and allow a little bit of freedom.

Once chassis section are glued and set in the place, and then heat lamp was used to dry it.
Keep the chassis parts together that let the chassis move from station to station.
Windshield is the only precast part of the chassis.
Install Damper Pads. Reduce the noise which come into the cabin.

Body in white.
The robot glued the side panel of the chassis by reading the barcode.
As the glue is applied, the technician took the panel to the heat application bracket.

The hydraulic process that put the side panel to the chassis which made sure the perfect alignment. Once the panel stuck together, there is no going back. Adjustment is almost impossible.

Also load the weight on the door to get the exact scenario.
