2 Principle types of Adhesive Technology used in modern Aston Martin Vehicle body structure technology construction.
- Aluminium Structure – Single Part Heat Cured Epoxy. Cured at 185 deg CBond gap 0.1 –1 mm. Specific Sulphuric Anodised surface coating
- Repair adhesive – 2 Part heat cured Epoxy. Cured at 80 deg C in Paint Oven.
- Outer structure – 2 Part Polyurethane heat cured or ambient depending on model.
- Repair adhesive - Same 2 Part Polyurethane as per ambient cure.
