Aluminium Billet

The electricity flows through the copper rods connecting to the steel blocks suspended into the pot.

The aluminium odixe molecules contain two aluminium atoms (grey) and three oxygen
atoms (blue).

The electric currents break the bond. Now, this process making the liquid metal which is little bit
denser than the bath, it settles to the bottom  of the pot and then the carbon oxide bubbles are
given up.
