Anti-Corrosion process. Cathodic Dip Primer. The cathodic dip primer is electrically charged positive. The metal carrier that holds the car carries a negative charge. As the car is submerged, the carrier agitates the car making sure the positively charged paint is drawn to every part of negatively charged body.
When the car emerged from the bath, the bond of paint is so strong that excess paint can
be washed off with water.
The technician paint the interior.
The exterior is where the robot takes over. The primer is electrical charged positively, as the robot sprayed the primer in the air. The primer is attracted by the negative charged car body.
It may look like the color coat, but it is not. The primer can be five colors. Note that this is the primer process, not the paint. Don't confuse, nest stop would be the paint color.
Head into the oven to dry the primer.
It's time for the car to get its color. Porsche can custom any color that you want.
The technician would paint the car from the top to the side.
The final layer is a solvent-based clear coat.
The clear is painted by robots, because the same coat is used for every car
