Unlike radar station signal, UPS works on the airplane itself. It constantly transmit the position,
altitude and velocity directly from the airplane to air traffic control.

Dimension, Weight, Scanning. The " DWS " is the machine that can give the unidentified objects  complete shipping identity.

The irregular object was transported on the special conveyor belt.

Keep the package face up and make sure the label's face up. Get the package on the belt as fast and as accurate as possible.





The parcel passes through the special designed camera device. Inside the device the laser scans the small labels and identify the package. The camera instantly transmits the image to the server  of the control system of the conveyor belt.

The control system tells the conveyor belt exactly how to maneuver each package into the correct trolley car separating by the destination post code.The laser picks up the destination and manages each package into these bag.

Backup. If the camera can not read the label, it would take the image and send it to the department that operators would manually assign post code to the package.

The camera determines how much space the package taking on the belt and how much pads were taken to nudge the package off.

When the conveyor belt comes into the intersection, the pads slide over and push the package into the appropriate direction.





The journey of parcels is almost complete.

The medium packages still need to send back to the airplane.







Weight matters. Improper packing can be dangerous and throw off the center gravity of the airplane.
