F1 Williams 2011

I wanna the HD video. Mega-factories !! This is like watching " Michael Jordan " play the basketball.

Formula One is the pinnacle of motor sports. The fastest circuit racing car in the world.
Over 700 horsepower. Take the ride of National Geographic Mega-Factories to itinerate the world.

In here, you define yourself.

The unprecedented opportunity to reveal the Williams F1 behind the race.

The state of art.

High technologies and individual brilliant must come together.

Carbon Fiber Autoclave. Autoclave Molding, Pre-preg, Composite Material.

The following information excerpted from Wikipedia.

" Autoclave "  is the pressure vessel used to process parts and materials which require to exposure to elevated pressure and temperature. the manufacture of high-performance components form advance composite often requires autoclave processing.

Portable Coordinate Measure Machine.   Portable 3D Measure Arm.

Kinetic Energy Recovery System

Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KNRS)
Two types of systems. The following information excerpt from F1 official website.

Battery (Electrical)
Electrical systems use the motor-generator incorporated in car's transmission which converts
mechanical energy  into electrical energy and vise versa. Once the energy had been harnessed, it is stored in the battery and released when required.

Flywheel (Mechanical)  William F1
Mechanical systems capture braking energy and use it to turn a small flywheel  which can speed at up to 80,000 rpm. When extra power is required, the flywheel is connected to the car's rear wheels. In contrast to an electrical (KNRS), the mechanical energy doesn't change state and therefore is more efficient.

When the driver put the brake, frictional energy is converted into electricity which makes the internal magnetic wheel spin  at very high speed.

The driver can press the button and released the energy from the flywheel to the extra-boost drive power.

The pattern board is taken to the carbon fiber composite room.

They use the patter board to produce the mold.

Each sheet does the grade, by changing the angle, sheet by sheet that the technician can make the part stronger.

To make the carbon fiber hold the mold and take the shape, they put inside the vacuum bag.

When the air is removed, the sheet layers were sucked to the surface.

It is ready to be cooked.

Autoclave (Industrial)

Look at the " Cross-Section " the nose wing structure is " Teardrop shape"   which deduced the " Pressure Drag ".

The wing has to be bonded and to be dried.
