Chevrolet-Corvette Z06
GM Assembly Plant
The Z06 aluminium structure is primarily GMA (MIG) welded.
Aluminium GMA MIG Welding. For today's aluminium intensive vehicles.
GMA MIG aluminium welding be done using Pulse Spray Arc welding equipment.
Self-Piercing Rivets are used for assembling some stamped pieces together.

The Corvette Z06 uses the aluminium frame that consists of two 6000 series extruded main side rails, final shape using Hydro-Forming process. The main side rails measure 4mm thick in most locations. Extrusion are also used for bumper reinforcements. A-pillar and the rood reinforcement bar.
Stamped aluminium is used for B-pillar construction, inner floor, and tunnel structure.
Casting are used for front and rear Suspension-Mounted Location.
Weld the chassis together
Drivetrain Tunnel. The rectangle hole in the middle of the tunnel which is for the shifter.
Weld it to the car body.
Using the Self Piercing Rivet for B pillar.
The B-pillars are stamped aluminium joined with self-piercing rivets.
Inspect the body
Air shower before go into the paint.

As the car went into the corner, the centrifugal force made the oil to flow to one side.
That's why the high performance sports car need to be installed "Dry Sump ".
Hood
Make sure the wrench is green light.
Install wheel. Bolt lug nuts up.
Green Light. Excellent.
